I had a good day today.
SheDev and I went to go see Matrix's new dog ... and it is really a nice dog with a good personality ... great great animal, and I can tell that he is really happy with it too
While we were there, I finally picked up a guitar that he was giving to me, which was just really nice on his part ... I really like it a lot ... Matrix, if you're reading this ... thanks, I really appreciate it
A little while ago, I put together my SIC Kamen Rider V3 statue. It looks really great, I guess the time consuming part is picking which options to put on the statue
For those of you that don't know, a lot of the Japanese action figures, you actually have to put some or all of it together manually ...in some ways it can be fun, in some ways it can be a pain too
My collection is pretty complete now, well at least in terms of the characters that I want ... I'm only short a Kikaida 01
I guess what I am saying is that I am lucky to have what I have. Some of the things that I have I received as gifts from my friends ... the V3 was a gift from Matrix and Brother Noland's former biggest fan in the 80s ... the big Kikaida Animation figure is from my gf, SheDev
I suppose what I am saying is not that friends can give you tangible gifts ... that's not my message
Friends give you the gift of friendship ... and for that, I am thankful, to all my friends ... many of which like you TOLERATE this blog
That's what friends are for
(ed.note: they even read my blog ... ha)
Thanks friends and of course my girlfriend, my life (and the Luau for that matter) would not be the same without you
oh yeah, and thanks to all my coworkers ... and to small petot ninja girl (most of the time, when she's NOT being so damn irritating little japanese sister-like)
i am suspicious of this sentiment. it seems so...genuine.
while you're at it, you should thank all your shweet coworkers.
