Memorial Day

At the Luau, we would like to thank those who made the ultimate sacrifice in American participation in wars. Especially to the families who have recently lost loved ones in our strike against Iraq.

Our research department has found that this holiday was originally started to commemorate Civil War dead, but later was extended to cover all American war dead. There was once a set date of May 30, now most of America commemorates this day on the last Monday of May.

Quite frankly, without these great men and women, jackoffs like me probably don't get the opportunity to write pointlessly and endlessly about really small and trivial stuff

We at the Luau appreciate your great sacrifice in the name of freedom and a peaceful world
