Well in the absence of my posts, I am pleasantly surprised to see that people are STILL posting to the St. Anger review --- maybe it's time to move on to bigger and better things, priorities in life should be reordered? how the hell is the buzz so continuous on this?
Sorry to say but I didn't go to 28 Days or Charlies Angels last weekend, we did finally see Nemo, and I'm not sure I'm going to review it just yet --- in a nutshell, I thought it was visually stunning, but the story was pretty weak this time. Monsters Inc. is still my Pixar fave
There's more to catch up on, there's T3 this week too, so I guess I should make more time to see movies ... however, I wouldn't count on my reviews being the most timely on them, all apologies
The exciting thing about today was getting some of my BMG special offer order, so as I hack away, I'm being soothed to the lovely strains of Ms. Norah. This is after having just crappy file share copies --- yes, downloading reduces piracy in the long run. It's a little bit late to be reviewing it, but this one simply trounces everything I've heard so far this year
As part of my BMG delivery, I got the great idea to do reviews of classics (so look for that EVENTUALLY, ha) And pretty much, you don't get an A+ or A++ without being a classic. If I had to grade, I think Ms. Norah's work is in that category --- it's almost a moot point to say that her well Grammied CD is an A++ or what we term here as an instant classic
Other than that, life goes on with trying to do school work, and maintain sanity
