Well, I finally saw Dude, Where's My Car -- and it's not as bad as I had thought it would be, in fact there were a few moments that I thought were pretty funny
The thing I wanted to talk about today was my growing fascination with reality TV --- I'm not sure what really triggers my interest, is it the shock value? is it the voyeuristic qualities of the medium? I'm not sure what it is --- all I know is that when I do watch TV, which is once in a great while, I end up watching some reality program or another
The one reality program that I do not understand is the one that features Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey -- ok, I get the premise that they are newlyweds -- what I don't get is how the show kind of ends up making both of them to some degree look silly --- not that I care either way, but I noticed a trend in reality TV to cut scenes together that make someone look stupid, or be the ass of the show, or look like a dick --- maybe that's what you get for your 15 minutes, but I find it somewhat disturbing (rather than entertaining)
