I've fallen slightly behind in my classes -- so now, it's kick it into gear time. Too bad the warm weather isn't particularly cooperating or making for a really comfortable study conditions.
However, the music this evening on KNAC.com is pretty cool --- they are digging up some pretty cool old metal faves of mine -- right now, Am I Evil? by Metallica
Well back to plowing through, sometimes this school work stuff seems like such drudge work -- oh well, at least tomorrow I can take a study break and go see Steely Dan
Oh yeah, I said I would report on the Lakers game -- well, playwise, it doesn't seem like the Mailman is blending in very well with the triangle thus far -- Shaq is very IN SHAPE and played with a lot of intensity for a preseason game -- the surprising player was Slava Medvedenko who really has come far from last year when he showed flashes of his game, I think he's going to be a great reserve for the Lakers this year -- and the Glove, well, the Glove is the Glove, supremely talented and mouthy, seems like he'll be a good fire player on the floor to help the team pick up the intensity -- other than that, it was a packed house and really fun for all involved -- and I think that the common sentiment was that Kobe was missed -- well at least for one game, the Lakers played pretty well without him --- game 2, now that's a different story
