Overall today was the day I was looking for -- one day to recharge and refocus
Someone remind the Lake Show that nothing is handed to you -- except your ass if you don't take care of business -- DE-TWA -- UNO to NADA
I think I shall watch some V3 in a little while -- warthog magnet guy, my favorite villain (note: I was wrong, it was squid-fire guy and TV-fly guy -- kinda boring ep actually)
It was interesting because earlier this week, I was talking to the ExecVeep during lunch -- and she was reflecting on how it is hard to recharge and refresh at the pace which we work
I thought that that was very true especially for me this week because I had so many meetings, so much work, and then when I came home -- almost everyday this past week I had to socialize
Don't get me wrong, I like my family, my extended family, and visitors from the mainland -- but it gave me very little time to relax and recharge
It seemed like I was working and the next day would come so soon
Well, today I went with SD to a family gathering at Kailua Beach -- it was pretty nice and relaxing
We decided to try the kayak we borrowed -- it was pretty tough sledding today because the wind was blowing straight in -- so it took a lot to get out there, and then a lot to get back in -- very tiring because the kayak was one of those solid vinyl plastic ones and not the lighter fiberglass kind
After we came in, we were just vegging out under a shady tree, eating and resting and that was just what I needed
