Well, finally, I'm on the bandwagon -- that acceptance speech by JK, was good but not perfect

But it was the one that I needed to hear, the one that put my confidence in his candidacy, the one that touched chords of hope within me

Some interesting things I noticed:
At the very end, the CNN coverage featured a balloon and confetti malfunction -- and an FCC moment from the feed

Very interesting choice of celebration music -- the overused "Beautiful Day" from U2 -- and if you can believe it 5150's "Dreams" from Van Halen
