Trivialities

Well, I went to go talk to my former boss today about his job opportunity -- it sounds very interesting ... he gave me some time to think about it, and it doesn't seem like it will kick off immediately ... so I will think it over while I slow down at the Friendly Isle this weekend

I think that I am numb about Laker related things ... today Shaq was traded to South Beach for virtually nothing in return ... and the hot rumor is that Kobe 8 won't be back either ... you know, after Phil was let go, I had a feeling that it would all fall into the sea -- as prideful things often do ... it's really hard to enjoy my team right now (and it's not a bandwagon issue as much as it is a multiple jackassitude issue)

I think at the end of the day I am growing to realize that it grows harder each year to be a fan of professional sports of any kind ... because I grow increasingly dissatisfied with egos, money, selfishness, and power plays

I am on the other hand enjoying playing the new NCAA Football game on my PS2 -- its a great time waster
