You know, if you stay at some place long enough -- you begin to notice stuff -- so as I sweated it out on the ellipse today, I noticed this one employee at 24HF who never seemed to be doing anything but was surely moving around from station to station to station and chatting it up -- I have a feeling she won't be there long

Tennis was kind of a drag today -- we found out there was 21 people in the class -- that's way too big to get work in, and it's frustrating because its hit hit wait for a while, hit hit wait

Well, the DKR figures arrived in this huge comic dealer direct case -- I was like sheesh, how much does it cost to ship this monstrosity -- I took a look inside my case and was really impressed at how figures look compared to the mental image I have of the printed page -- very cool looking

Maybe later tonight I shall bust out the leather bound DKR and take a look at it for the first time in a while -- hopefully, the new BM movies have that grit and darkitude of the Miller BM, I've kinda felt that the last two BM movies have really kind of gone more towards the cartoony side of the BM legacy -- aka ala the 60s BM TV series

Not that I intend to kill my budget, but I have noticed that the new retro packaged Star Wars X figs are VERY HARD TO FIND in Hawaii -- yes, I know that the DVDs came out, but all the same ... for the past month, the majority of them were to be released, and I've yet to see the vast majority of them in the stores -- who wants fucking Lobot anyways??? that's what I thought

Talk about knowing where the bread is buttered -- many versions of Imperial troopers, three Darth Vaders, the bounty hunters, and I believe 2 Boba Fetts -- I know that they overproduced for the prequels, but this underproduction reminds me of how it was in the good old days where there were no SW figs for Xmas because it was all sold out -- GD I'm old

I demand a Grand Moff Tarkin, ha

And the magic number today is FOUR --- and one final note, it never is good to say -- gee, this team is better because someone got injured -- but I think there is a team in Steeltown and one in the Eastbay that probably will benefit from them
