Mayor's Race

I don't think I've seen such a boring political candidate debate as I saw last night -- all it told me is that no one is ready to get specific except for former mayor Fasi ... and all he wants to say is -- I was mayor for 22 years and I won't raise your taxes

I understand and can feel that Mufi and Duke are very intelligent men -- call me stupid but I needed more than to hear what I already have been hearing from their political ads -- there were opportunities for them to answer questions that were intended for them to be SPECIFIC --

I find that troubling because all that says to me is that no one is confident enough to LEAVE THE SCRIPT ... LEAVE THE NOTES ... LEAVE THE SOUNDBITES BEHIND -- and get to think on your feet, don't be a robot, show some creativitiy, and show some guts to answer what were really softball questions from the panel

I don't think anyone did well tonight, I felt it was a rehash -- that's really lame considering some of the very important challenges our next mayor will have to undertake and resolve -- no one demonstrated to me that they were willing to step up tonight -- that is more than a little disturbing
