I was at 24HF when I noticed something peculiar while sweating it out -- I don't know which news to believe
Earlier this week, I saw a Fox news report on the issue of Iraq and its effect on a vote -- FOX indicated that people were significantly more likely to vote for Bush -- this was tied together with how "some say" Kerry is on terrorism
Tonight, I saw Paula Zahns show on CNN, and GD if it didn't show just the totally DAMN OPPOSITE -- CNN had it that people were significantly more likely to vote for Kerry if they consider what is going on in Iraq (86%)
Now, tie this to that Internet gossiper (rhymes with Sludge, has a Sunday AM radio show -- got it?) -- saying that Bush is up 14% with likely voters (which was correct according to a Pew survey Sept 5-8, if I recall correctly)
Perhaps he should have gotten the poll update a few days later which suggests a DEAD HEAT again of 46%-46%
What are these conservative "news sources" trying to do -- muddying the water, and I believe discouraging voters who would vote for Kerry with misleading stats that suggest Bush is ahead -- and why would you vote if your vote didn't count? right?
All I can conclude is that media outlets HAVE A FAR DIFFERENT AGENDA than you or I the common peeps, the hoi polloi -- I honestly think that sometimes their agenda colors the information that they put forward as "news" and this is very very dangerous to the news consumer -- beware when you think you can take it all at face value, there are hidden motives at play -- that we are not aware of
Oh btw, did you know that more young people get their news from John Stewart's THE DAILY SHOW than from any other mainstream media source -- that's DEEP man -- ha
This whole election thing is really getting ugly -- and even the whole Mufi and Duke thing is getting ugly here for mayor -- I have my opinion on the matter because I believe one of the candidates has become a very, very desperate man -- who is now trying a win at all costs approach, that I feel will very well backfire in his face if he is not careful
