Sometimes I wonder

Where the day goes -- I guess it was so filled with odds and ends that it just blazed on by

A cool thing today was that I was able to get a copy of Megadeth's new CD from WalMart ... yes, it's not supposed to be out til tomorrow, someone goofed -- anyways I've heard the first 3 tracks -- very solid, very good, so far so good

I was kind of wandering around in the music section and saw the new one by Lamb of God -- well, it was the edited version, they only had the edited version -- I don't get it, if I were a parent would I be pleased that my child was listening to a clean version .. if I were a kid, would I want a clean version? Never understood the whole PA thing

Of course, every other "questionable" CD was available only in the PA version -- I wish WM would make up their minds about their stand as a conscientious vendor of purity and light (and profits, ha)

The other kind of weird thing about WM is that they only seem to carry the "newest" stuff ... they are not deep with "older" merch ... everything especially in the CD, DVD, Games areas tends to be just released within the last month ... just a coincidence? I think not, WM has been setting the tone for turning over inventory for years now

On a side note, I've been settling in with the notion that it has been a somewhat disappointing year for me as a sports fan -- well, I shouldn't say disappointing as much as unsettling -- things are seeming to turn around a bit with the fall sports ... but UH

GD, UH!!!! Every year I have such high hopes for the football team, and every year I feel lied to -- at least the VB program is doing well, as if I care ... ha -- I feel a change in my attitude towards the state's highest paid employee -- it's very very skeptical, and I think it is because I feel like I'm being lied to

When what you are being told and what you see with your own eyes don't match ... well, who are you going to believe ... I rest my case

You know, it was kind of interesting ... I was listening to a national jock talk sports with Beano -- and he had an interesting observation that he said: I think some fans wish Rix or Brock Berlin didn't have another year of eligibility -- funny, I feel the same way about soon-to-be Mr. Passing Record

Oh well...
