I watched the Frontline program on PBS tonight -- The Choice 2004 -- I felt that this two hour program was a really informative news styled documentary on the lives and public service of John Kerry and President Bush -- in many ways, the program was a nicely woven side by side comparison of the lives and choices of the two men
Whether you are on the fence or are staunch supporter of either candidate, the program is a very worthwhile investment of your time as it will delve into very interesting aspects of their personal, social, and political lives -- it probably will not sway your choice either way, but will provide some needed context relating to their biographies
I found the program to provide an informative look at the elements that shaped both men, and in turn, are shaping the course of this election -- it provided some needed depth where normal news only provides bits and clips
The program will be on in Hawaii on our local PBS affiliate at the following times:
Wednesday, October 13 1:00 AM
Thursday, October 14 9:00 PM
Friday, October 15 1:00 AM
It will also be available to watch on the web from Friday as well -- We will post a link up to it just because we were very impressed with the informational value and nonpartisan tone of this program
