It was interesting today -- I had to go to an appointment at the old territorial building. Until now, because of its prominent facade, I had never noticed that it was several stories tall -- well, it is partially blocked by the shade trees too -- anyways ...
I didn't write my reax to the season ender for Nip Tuck, a couple of nights ago -- I liked it, I felt that the vast majority of it could have been just another regular episode -- the reason why I say that is because it didn't focus enough on our two doctors or Julia -- nice noticeable nod at the end to the way the first season ended
Did it close off loose ends from this season? yeah it pretty much did, cleaning up the Ava situation -- creating a new basis for Julia and Sean's relationship -- -- Matt's slate is clean -- and how was that Who Shot J.R. ending, very 80s -- interesting, almost an homage, if I didn't know better -- well, for Christian, it kinda felt like his character was in limbo after the early part of the season and the resolution of the Gina and Wilbur arc -- I guess he has a future if he wants it with Kimber, that's about it
Yeah the Carver storyline is interesting for a cheap pop, but where are they going with the trio of main characters? -- there are some intriguing issues that could possibly tie the Carver with the big trio -- but that's just my own speculation about the identity of the C -- if the C is who I think it is, then it's a really huge huge series changing surprise that will lift the series out of the mixed bag doldrums its been in for the past month or so -- so anyways, whatever shall we do with our Tuesday nights until next summer?
That was quite a baseball game between TC and the Bombers last night -- what a real grinder with many ups and downs -- the Yanks playing moneyball, then Mo blowing the save, then Spiderman hitting the homer to put Twins up in the 12th -- and then A-Rod culminating his big performance with a ground ruler to tie the game, and Godzilla with the SF to win it -- draining but awesome
