Wet Dry ... Wet

You know, it has always puzzled me how we are sitting dead center in the Pacific, well north some -- but you know what I mean -- how can we not get the weather right?

Today SD and I went to lunch at CPK -- then over to the lagoons at Ko`Olina -- and the weather was really nice -- This was surprising after the rains late last night into this morning

So this morning when it was clearing out, the NWS said that by 4 this afternoon, the flash flood watch would be over -- well, it seems that that was when the black clouds rolled back in -- and since about 5-something -- here's the pouring rain again

Can no one read weather radar ... look at it ... there's a big damn rain cloud covering our state -- how can you cancel the FF warning -- I don't get it, can they not see it?

Some random thoughts ...
Bubba on the stump again for JK -- looks real skinny, still a compelling speaker

Rumors have it that the latest incarnation of Van Hagar is close to the end of the road -- Sad, odd, and -- all it makes me want to do is shake my head

Saw Day of Independence and Sleeping Tigers yesterday -- two really great movies about WWII Japanese experience in the US and Canada -- and two movies that really get its about Japanese people and their love affair with baseball

Anyways, speaking of hardball ---
Going into G3 of the WS this year, total offensive domination by the Sawx -- it certainly is not over -- but StL has to wake up the bats
