Black Friday

I don't know when they started to refer to the first day of the XM shopping season as Black Friday -- or perhaps I just haven't been paying attention


In recent years, I have totally avoided mall shopping for XM -- in fact, the whole XM rush thing seems very remote to my consciousness

Tonight we went to 24HF, this may have been the most understaffed that they have ever been since I can remember -- I guess everyone wants to stretch out their weekend, who can blame them?


Going to Jamba afterwards, I was struck by two notions -- number 1, this stuff is really expensive, like a fruity version of SB's or going out to buy ice cream from 31 or CS -- but number 2, a lot of the flavors taste pretty mediocre -- maybe I have a narrow palate, but sheesh, I think I only like 2 of the flavors
