Coming apart

I spent half the day with SD today -- it was pretty cool and nice

The thing that surprised the heck out of me is how easy PCs get all out of tune -- by this I mean, it gets spyware, trojans, worms, highly fragmented -- all in a short period of time, and all by doing normal stuff that people use the computer for -- like surfing the net

I put their computer back into working order -- and again wonder aloud, why it is that people put up with this crap because if you don't do anything, your PC will shortly break down
