I seek a greater appreciation on why it is that we should care about the content of our entertainment
Case in point, on a show that I do not watch because I think it is particularly hokey to be entertained by people trying to win a job -- loyal viewers seem to care about who wins, who loses each week
Ultimately, I suppose it has all got to me -- all of this I would like to bare my shit on TV stuff has got to me -- not only because it is indicative of how far people want to go to achieve some level of fame -- but because of the lack of dignity that is displayed by these people -- and holding up the mirror, the lack of dignity of the viewers who essentially enjoy watching people have real life and not contrived blowouts
