There's overstaying your welcome


Today may have been the most useless long winded training seminar that I have ever been to in my working life


I should have known it -- it had all the classic signs of uselessness: the guy who has been coming back here for 25 years; what is he doing now? oh, consulting; some bigshot in governmental before; etc. etc.


Talk about airmailing it in -- 8 FULL HOURS -- of stuff that he could have easily covered in 2 or 3 -- a lot, and I mean, A LOT of anecdotes -- It was like listening to your drunk not-so-much friend at a bar go on and on


The simple joy of this is that I get to do it again tomorrow for 8 more hours
