Unfathomable Impossibility of Consumption

I was having some mental block on doing something, so I surfed for a while -- was reading this forum on TV shows on DVD

It made me think about a few shows that I would love to have full seasons of -- the "new" Showtime version of The Outer Limits, all seven seasons -- yes, I am a geek for that show

I also would like seasons of Tales From The Crypt ... well, TFTC is rumored for some kind of release later this year -- TOL is just a schmozz in terms of how roaring lion studios have previously released -- no one has official sets, even the sets in Canada are incomplete

I know that for some other shows, it's just a waiting game -- like La Femme and OZ, and of course South Park -- I would love to know how they decided to price some of these sets, particularly USA networks and HBO -- man, sometimes it seems just unconscionably high -- and if not for price, for some shows, the delay or release schedule seems just interminable
