Unscintillating Nosty

Exciting job, not so much

So I was on the Live Aid DVD site today, and I was feeling that consumer pull, that urge to buy -- and I thought to myself while I watched some the clips of the performances -- that this was really an amazing thing from 20 years ago

Some of the bands may not have survived the tides of history -- but some of the performances are amazing even today -- the Queen performance was and still is the highlight for me -- seeing some of the bands like Spandau Ballet, who never really amounted to much but one hit -- the stripped down performance of Sting with Branford -- U2, Bowie, The Who, George Michael with Elton John, Madonna, Duran Duran -- this was a pretty awesome assembly of talent -- and just putting aside crap, to see original Sabbath and the remaining members of Zep perform together once more (even though that isn't on the DVD)

It's kind of a nostalgia trip for me to be reminded of the performances, and how this was very big 80s in some way, yet transcendent in another

So tempting to buy it, I just think its the boredom overcoming me LOL
