Functional Pageant Wear

We notice weird things, don't we?

Well, at least I do ... last night while we were at the gym, I noticed this woman that had your typical lycra mix shorts on

The funny thing about it was that there was this enigmatic wording a little below the waistband on the butt side -- it said miss honolulu, in some really computery font that looked like arial narrow bolded & lowercased-- SD was wondering if that was pageant wear

I guess people really do sell stuff off cafepress -- I don't know, just speculating

Rediscovering: Great Expectations S/T

Packing up another set of cds to go to the great reseller in SoCal -- ye old Second Spin -- the 1997 movie S/T for that movie with Ethan and Gwyn is quite interesting to listen to even today -- great songs include Life in Mono, a great Cesaria Evora track, and a where are they now track from David Garza

Rediscovering: Red, Hot and Rhapsody

This one was the follow-up to AIDS benefit cd Red, Hot and Blue -- this one a set of rhapsodic sounds from the absolute American songmaster Cole Porter --
Man, there are two songs that really crush -- a Natalie Merchant cover of "But Not For Me" and a shine bright, not long by Sinead O'Connor of the all-time classic "Someone to watch over me"

Yanks-Os notes within (6/162) ... tomorrow Bombers-Sawx, SERIES 2!!!

Day game dos, little too early for my weekend tastes 7:05 -- I'm a fan yes, but this is still week one of the season ...

The game began with a great layout diving catch of a linedrive by Giambi -- yes, I was as surprised as you must be LOL

Both Pavano and Lopez for the Os look like they have great stuff today -- no scoring through one

Top 2: Rafael Palmeiro is such a great hitter, slapped one to left -- then the oddly enough happened -- looked like Giambi kept asking why he was holding Palmeiro on first -- Palmeiro stole second, DOH -- then scored on a single ... umm, I think that's why you hold Rafy on LOL

Pavano has really worked hard this inning, 3 singles -- Os, 1-0

Top 3: Brian Roberts for the Os is such a great player, a real pleasure to watch -- lays down a bunt towards Giambi, beats it out -- Jason is really not the best fielder of those plays or thrower, for that matter

Next batter, Giambi drops an easy foul ball -- E3, pssh

AWWFARQ!!! Pavano just got hit in the head with a liner, and the ball ricocheted into foul territory -- he's out of the game, damn -- hope he is ok -- this is turning into the freak stuff against the home team kind of game

Well, nothing particularly that great happened after that, the interlocking fell behind 7-1, and ultimately lost 7-2

A bit up and down to start the season, showing that trend from last year that if they do not play money ball, they're in serious trouble to score runs or even get hits, for that matter

Due to the unbalanced schedule again this season lots of see the same team for two weeks -- this week to Boston and Baltimore, flipping the first week schedule

Well, I've always thought that way as well -- like if you put someone's logo on your ass -- doesn't that mean that they own you in the "branding" sense -- wow, I didn't even realize that that could have two meanings in this context

About the low pants, i think it is just one of those why can't we do low pants things -- men wear low pants, we should make low pants for women -- ok, hold it there serge -- the reason why men wear low pants is contouring of the body -- its the same reason why women have worn pants above their hips traditionally -- now that they are wearing it seemingly mid-hip, well it should slide down -- by design

that's why i shake my head each and every time i see women pulling up their low pants -- and that's a lot if you pay attention to it in public -- it's almost all of them

i still feel that advertising has gone too far when they need to brand you like cattle and put their logo or a saying.

I have serious deep concern for women/girls who wear sayings like "bongo" or "abercrombie" on their ass.

While on this subject... whats with the "rolling down" of the pants? Is there an extreme sense of urgency for women to become plumbers? I just dont understand the rolling down of pants and the low slung fashion which makes it imposible NOT to see crack when gals bend down.
