I guess the Yanks will spot them 10 before removing Brown -- psshh -- Barajas singles past ARod -- again looking at the replay, Brown missed the target BADLY -- Nix grounds to Womack to retire the side

BOT 1: Lord knows why they kept Kevin "Arm Shot" Brown -- well, Yanks down four before coming out of the field

Yankees facing the giant Chris Young 6-10 -- Jeter runs the count full, then reaches when Soriano boots an easy grounder -- Bernie pops out to third -- Sheff hits a high fly that dies in center, no carry, two down -- Matsui down looking to end the inning

BOT 2: ARod walked -- Giambi down looking SO -- One out, runner at first -- Tino grounds out to second, ARod moves to second on the play -- two down, Flaherty goes down on strikes to end the inning

TOP 3: Teixeira singled to right -- Dellucci grounded into fielder's choice, lead runner out at second -- one out runner on first, Mench doubled to deep center, one run scores, Rangers 5-0

Matthews Jr. grounded out to first, runner moves to third on the play -- Barajas strikes out swinging to retire the side

BOT 3: Womack flies to center -- Jeter flied out to right -- Bernie flies out to end the inning -- Young very much in control of the game thus far, cruising

TOP 4: Brown Ks Nix -- Brown gives Soriano, the chin music, after 0-2 -- Soriano pops out to second -- Blalock flies harmlessly to center for the third out

BOT 4: Sheff walks on four pitches -- Matsui RBI double, Sheff scores on the hit and run play -- Rangers 5-1

ARod quality AB but whiffs on the curve -- one down, runner on second -- Giambi must have the bat superglued to his shoulder, second time frozen pizza -- Tino strikes out to end the inning -- Young bounced back to strike out the side, great work

TOP 5: Young hits a comebacker at Brown, underhands to Tino for the out -- Teixeira singles by Tino into right field -- Womack gloves a hot shot, turns it into 2, and the side is retired

BOT 5: Flaherty struck out -- Womack quality AB, slaps a ball to the right field fence, in with a double -- Blalock looks Womack back to second, throws out Jeter for out #2 -- Bernie singles, Mench playing shallow -- guns out Womack at the plate to end the inning

TOP 6: Mench fouls out to first -- Matthews, Jr. and Barajas back to back singles, runners now first and second, one out -- Stanton and Karsay warming for the Yankees -- Nix hits a routine DP ball, Jeter to Womack for the force, the throw is off line to Tino -- two out, runners first and third, Soriano strikes out to end the inning

BOT 6: Sheff singles to center -- Matsui deep fly to left, Sheff retreats back to the bag at first -- One out, hit and run on, ARod grounds to short, only a play at first -- Chris Young leaves the game, good outing for Young vs. the Yanks today

Yanks looked really flat today -- and the Kevin Brown getting gashed in the first inning for the second game in a row did not help

Yanks now 7-10 on the season

Tomorrow another game against Texas -- Jaret Wright getting the start for the Yanks after the shaky win against TB earlier this week -- Chan Ho Park will go for the Rangers
