I have always wondered how the heck they make band decisions on the FM dial -- and by band I mean, radio license and secondarily programming
Sure, I couldn't understand the whole let's try to own all the Hawaiian music -- later I couldn't understand, let's try to fill the air with 3, then 4 "urban music" stations
Now, I'm really puzzled -- I feel sorry for those who experience new music for the first time on the radio -- I guess I'm a nostalgic old futt who actually appreciated that you could get a diversity of music and actually learn about new music that way
What with the need to listen to right wing talk shows IN STEREO -- and the death of urban music on 1-94 -- good luck HNL on finding new music
So here's your choices as they stand -- classical, jazz, deadly mindnumbing contempo, Xtian, more contempo, more Xtian, even more contempo, right wing bullcrap, island music, more island music (just older kind), even more island music, female tuned alt pop ... I give up
Let me tune in to some jawaiified cover songs from my youth on the radio LOL
