About time

(Later: As I continue to ponder my podcast possibilities, here was a unique, you guessed it podcast about using stuff like RIAA material on p-casts)

It struck me as I was screwing back on my clear enclosure on the old Cube near midnight last night, that it may be time to set it aside. As you may know, I've been doing mods to it to see how much more mileage I can get out of it -- I think I have reached the technical end of it all, I put in a flashed Radeon 9.2k, and although it fits the AGP (and runs surprisingly well), it is not ithe most firmest installation without matching brackets to hold it in place ... it's like it's floating, so I guess I may have to fab a metal bracket to hold it to the base of the Cube

Reading some tidbits this morning, one of the more interesting ones was a picture of Charlize Theron in the live action movie adaptation of Peter Chung's Aeon Flux, okay so it wasn't THAT interesting ... how about a videogame based on it, too LOL

Following up a bit on janitor's find of the GL "let's go back further in the past" prequel ideas comes this bit of rumor from IESB about more films ... remember kids, it's all about the cashish

In the good lord, there is a movie to be done here ... and it's release date is May next year moment -- finally more details on X3 beyond Bryan Singer will not direct, more info on characters, and the unique casting for Beast, and of course continued speculation about the Wolverine solo flick

On the finally side of the ledger, nice to see Cronenberg back directing films, and yes it is suspense thriller

And lastly, the WTF is this doing in my BBC news (a Reeses old style commercial moment), found this little tid about Sin City and Frank Miller at Cannes ... little stale, yes, but then this isn't E channel

I never found Aeon Flux exciting although the animation was cutting edge at the time and of course MTV was there to push it forward. I never understood the concept of it all but the sexiness was a great attraction. What happened to those days?

Kelsey G as the Beast. Hm. How will they explain that Hank McCoy imposter in X2? Mr. G would make a good Beast im sure. I can't believe there is no talk about colossus being in the next flick but who knows.

Dunno if you are listening to Coverville but I strongly suggest you check out this cool podcast of all cover tunes by famous and not so famous artists. Podcasting is something I look forward to when my mess is over. Until then bust out garage band and get yourself a good analog to digital converter and mic and rock the house!
