Every Move a Picture - Signs of Life EP REVIEW

So what does it mean when something is limited or special? Does it just mean that your band doesn't have enough cred to get backing for a full album, or what does it mean ...

Every Move a Picture - Signs of Life REVIEW: A+

Well, this EP is available only on iTunes, but it is a really solid and good effort from EMaP. It features a style that is remiscent of 80s post-punk/new wave and a vocalist that reminds me of Dave W. from General Public/English Beat

Their music is getting exposure on the smaller network TV shows, and for good reason. It's a nice catchy blend that mainly features good synth pop that has a great groove to it that is very 80s sounding

Some have mentioned this band as one to watch, and I do not disagree. I think this EP is a great start, and it was just enough for me to be curious as to what they will turn out when they do a full length effort

Highly recommended ... it's very likable, very listenable music, and smack dab in the nu-retro genre -- I have a positive spin on all this nu-retro music, now old snarks like me can buy new stuff that sounds like the old stuff I love

Our grade: A+

Our test drive single recs: Signs of Life, You're So Predictable, and Chemical Burns (... oh heck, if you like the clips, you're gonna like the whole EP, you certainly could do worse with less than $5)

Saw these dudes at BFD 2005 at Shoreline. They fucking killed it. Amazing live band too.
