BOT 4: Matsui grounds a leadoff single through the right side -- Bernie on with a four pitch walk, runners now first and second -- Posada hits single the opposite way to left, Matsui wheels his way in home ... on a sprained ankle, whoa!, one run scores, the Yankees now lead 3-0

Runners at first and second, Giambi down swinging, one down -- Womack lines the first pitch to center, two away -- Jeter grounds to short, the force play is made at second to end the rally

TOP 5: Mackowiak grounds to second, one down -- Doumit pops to center, two away -- Ward rips one down the rightfield line for a single ... the replay shows that it was CLOSE ... could have gone either way

Castillo draws a two out walk, runners now first and second -- Cota hits a sharp comebacker at Muss, he gloves it, and retires Cota to retire the side ... and save a run

BOT 5: Cano smashes a leadoff double over the centerfielder's head that rolls to the wall -- Sheffield hits a line shot into center off the first pitch, one run scores, Yankees now 4-0 -- Williams again out to confer

On the 1-2 to ARod, the pitch is low and gets away from the catcher, runner to second on the play -- the 2-2 plunks ARod, runners now first and second

Meadows warms for the Bucs -- full count to Matsui, the payoff ... is grounded to second, and gets the 463 double play, two down, runner to third

Runner at third, two down for Bernie, full count, he draws a 2-out walk, runners now at the corners -- Posada chops one over the head of the pitcher, the shortstop comes across, can't glove, play by the second baseman ... not in time to first, another run scores, NY 5-0

Bernie tweaked his ankle on the play at second -- runners now first and second, two down for Giambi, he BASHES one to deep center, the CF leaps ... misses, and it's off the wall, two runs score on the hit ... and Giambi in with a 2-out double, the score is now Yankees 7-0

Wells is knocked out of the game -- in to pitch for the Bucs, Meadows -- Womack flies to right to end the rally

TOP 6: Wilson grounds to third, one away -- Lawton lines the first pitch to right, in for a single -- Sanchez has a quality AB, he lines a tough ball to left ... great diving catch by Womack, two down, what a play! -- Bay bombs one off the wall in center, off the wall, Lawton chugging ... they wave him home, the throw is so on time, Posada can eat his lunch before tagging out Lawton to retire the side

BOT 6: Jeter grounds to short, one gone -- Cano singles up the middle and into center -- Sheffield draws a walk, runners now first and second

ARod down swinging, uno dos adios, two away -- Sierra in to PH for Matsui, grounds to short, the force is made at second to end the inning

TOP 9: Hill grounds to first, one away -- Bay lines a single to left -- Mackowiak battles, but finally goes down swinging, two down -- Quantrill warms for Yankees -- Doumit battles, but grounds a comebacker to Muss, he puts out Doumit to end the game

Another masterful complete game shutout by Mussina (109 pitches), only scattering 5-hits
