BOT 1: Wang going for NY -- Eckstein hits a broken bat grounder to first, one down -- Grudz+ draws a four pitch walk -- on the check back throw to first, Wang throws to Giambi, he can't handle it and Grudz+ is off to the races ... in at third on the play -- Pujols grounds to deep short, Jeter gloves and does his trademark jump throw, the ball is there on a hop, hits Giambi in the glove and bounces up in the air, one run scores ... another error, Cards 1-0

Edmonds launches one off the wall in right, runner to third on the hit, runners now at the corner -- Stottlemyre in to confer

Walker hits the first pitch past the diving Cano, one run scores, runners now at first and second, StL now leads 2-0

Sanders goes down swinging, two away -- Nunez grounds the first pitch to third to end the rally

TOP 2: ARod grounds to short, Eckstein gloves, drops, recovers and guns him out, one down -- Matsui flies the first pitch to left, two away -- full count to Posada, the payoff ... low, ball four, a two out walk -- Giambi flies to left to retire the side
