King of Hipe

Yes, what do you get when you overhype ... you get tripe hype, so ouila, HIPE.

I feel like I'm really overhyping, but I can't get enough of this recent find (well, depends how you define "recent", I think I heard it on WOXY or did I hear it on iTunes sometime late May/June??)

We have been listening to our favorite Canadian artist at the moment ... specifically Feist's "Let It Die" for quite a while now, and I don't seem to be able to sit for any amount of time and write a review. But, I really love it alot ... in fact, the most apt comparison I can draw is that freshness when I first heard norah, and her voice is just amazingly dynamic and emotionally evocative

Great starter tracks to sample are One Evening, Gatekeeper, and Inside Out, but Now At Last and the cover of Secret Heart are equally good

What is even more cool is her acoustic set on M.B.E. (requires RealPlayer), which features some better arrangements of the songs on the cd ... and I suppose a great place to sample her music
