TOP 3: Giambi flies to center, one pitch, one out -- Posada grounds to third, two down -- Cabrera grounds sharply to first, Wells covering ... Cabrera beats him to the bag ... the ball is dropped by Wells for a two out infield single, good hustle -- Jeter flies to center to retire the side

BOT 3: Mueller flies to left, one down -- Bellhorn flies to left center, two away -- Damon slices a two out double, down the line and into the leftfield corner -- Renteria grounds a single up the middle, one run scores -- the rout continues, Red Sox now lead, 9-0

Ortiz grounds to second in short right due to the Ortiz shift, to end the two out rally

TOP 4: Cano grounds a leadoff single up the middle and into center -- on the 0-1 to Sheffield, the pitch bounces away from Varitek, runner to second on the wild pitch -- Sheffield rips a shot past the bag at third, off the jutting left field stands and dies, one run in on the double -- the BOS lead cut to 9-1

ARod sharply grounds to third into a 543 double play, two gone -- Matsui grounds to second to end the rally

TOP 5: Sierra goes down swinging, one down -- Giambi is plunked, on first via HBP -- Posada goes down swinging, two away -- Cabrera pops to second to retire the side

BOT 5: Tino in at 1B -- Ortiz lines to second in shallow right on the shift, one down -- Manny flies to center, two away -- Nixon flies to right to end the inning

TOP 6: Millar to LF, Olerud at 1B -- Jeter battles then grounds up the middle to short, great ranging play by Renteria to just get him at first, one down -- Cano grounds a single up the middle and into center -- Sheffield sharply grounds one past the bag at third ... into the jutting stands in left, touched by a fan and back onto the field of play for a ground rule double

This is the point of the game where the NESN announcers go goofy as Remy wears a bandanna on his head

Tino grounds to second, two away -- Posada grounds to third ... the throw from Cora in the dirt, Olerud can't pick it, Posada reaches on the error at third -- Cabrera lines the first pitch to right for a single, runners now at the corners -- Jeter grounds to short to retire the side
