And I thought that was expensive

Well, consider the silence broken ...

I went to see The Eagles at our local stadium close to ten years ago, and paid $85 bucks for a seat ... it was in the 9th row, and it quite honestly was one of the better stadium shows that I have ever seen

I really and truly am not one to shy away from paying high prices to see my favorite bands ... especially here in paradiso. I mean, how many shows do we get here at all, right?

Now I heard today that 4/5ths of The Eagles or band sans Don F. is coming to town in late November for two midweek shows ... and the top price if you dont want to buy a package is $250 ... I would assume that means most of the house will be $250 bucks, that's usually what it means at our rather small 8000 or so seat arena

There is a part of me that is tempted to go, but there is another part of me that just wants to barf at how much that truly is a big time GOUGE of "the fans"

Nostalgia shows are a two way street, yes finally as fans we can see some shows that we have wanted to for a very long time, and that really is a good thing ... I think that bands should realize how much of a privilege it is to play for your long sufferring and loyal fans as well and show some "meet you halfway" rather than rob them
