Well, life has been going by in a busy blaze of busy work at work, lots of changes in the personal life, and off-and-on crises
Although I do not have any tremendously important to say about anything or to rant on anything ... I am experiencing a Rilo Kiley renaissance, and am just loving the little more than a year old, "More Adventurous" more and more.
Ironically, I never watched their performance on MBE until this morning off KCRW's site, and wow, it is just fantastic. It is just refreshing to see someone know how to write good songs, perform them well, and have a lot of interesting, very easy to get into, sonic variety ... just straightforward, symmetrical, hooky alt pop -- it amazes me that our local Star station only pushed "Portions ..." and not anything else from this great album
