TOP 1: Capuano pitching for MIL -- Jeter grounds the first pitch to short, one down -- Bernie goes down swinging, two away -- Sheffield hits a liner at third, Helms drops it ... it goes into left, and he hustles to second, a 2-base error
Two down, runner at first for ARod, he blasts one into the left center field seats, whoa!!! ... Yankees draw first blood, 2-0
Sierra lines a single back up the middle and into center -- Tino grounds to second to end the rally
BOT 1: Mussina pitching for NY -- Clark goes down swinging, one away -- Spivey lines the first pitch into left for a single -- Jenkins hits a soft grounder to second, two away, runner now on second
Lee bombs a 2-out double off the centerfield wall, one run scores, the lead is cut to 2-1 ... damage after two outs continues
Overbay hits another bomb to center ... Bernie tracks but it is just out of the reach of his glove and off the wall, another double, another run scores, the score is tied 2-2 ... two outs v. Yankees EQUALS hittin time
The 0-2 to Hall gets by Flaherty, a WP that advances the runner to third -- Hall goes down swinging to end the rally

TOP 2: Flaherty hits a laser to center but it is caught by the centerfielder, one down -- on the 3-1, Sanchez swings, misses, and loses his bat to the stands ... Sanchez takes out a new bat, the payoff ... ball four in the dirt
Mussina strikes out trying to sacbunt as the ball rolls foul on 0-2, two down -- runner at first, two down for Jeter, he works the count full .... and then Sanchez gets picked off first to retire the side
....!!
BOT 2: Helms hits it hard but flies to left, one down -- Moeller loops a single to left -- Capuano down offering to bunt, two away -- Clark grounds to third to end the inning

TOP 3: Jeter hits the first pitch and flies to right center, one gone -- Bernie hits a liner over the head of the pitcher, but caught by the shifted second baseman, two away -- Sheffield pops out to first in short right to retire the side
BOT 3: Spivey goes down swinging after the full count payoff, one down -- Jenkins hits a bomb to left, Sierra leaps ... and MAKES THE CATCH, nice play, two away -- Lee hits a sinking liner to right center, it ducks under Sheffield's glove and to the wall, another two out double
Overbay draws a walk after very careful pitching by Muss, runners now first and second -- Hall flies out to right to end the inning

TOP 4: ARod hits a grounder to third, the third baseman gloves and drops ... no play at first, it is called an infield single -- Sierra lasers one past Lee in left to the wall, he hustles in for a double, runners now second and third
Full count to Tino, the payoff pitch ... Tino rips it to right past Jenkins and it bounces into the seats in right, two runs score on the ground rule double, Yankees back in front 4-2 -- Maddux in to confer
Runner at second for Flaherty, he goes down swinging at the high queso, one down -- Sanchez hits a liner up the middle and into center, they wave Tino around third ... and he is called out at the plate, Sanchez to second on the play (replay shows his foot was in before the tag was applied to his chect ... not getting the calls right now, either)
Muss grounds to third to end the rally
BOT 4: Helms loops the first pitch to short, one pitch, one out -- Moeller goes down swinging, two away -- Capuano goes down swinging to end the inning

TOP 5: Full count to Jeter, the payoff .... ball four, he draws a leadoff walk -- Bernie bashes a high fly to right ... it bounces off the wall in right, a double, and runners now second and third -- Santana warms for MIL
Sheffield draws a walk after Capuano is careful with him, the bases are now loaded -- Maddux out to confer
Bases loaded for ARod, he slaps a single past short and into left, one run scores, the bases remain stacked, and the Yankees lead is increased to 5-2
Capuano's night is over, Julio Santana in to pitch for MIL --Sierra lines a single to right, another run scores, the bases still loaded -- the score is now 6-2
Tino battling, he works it full, a quality AB, the payoff ... he grounds to second into a 463 double play, another run in, two away -- NY now 7-2
Runner at third, two down for Flaherty, he hits a sinking liner to left, Lee is there to end the rally
BOT 5: Clark pirouettes a checkswing on 2-2 ... the appeal to first, and the ump calls it NO ... and Tino argues it, and he is kicked out of the game -- Torre out to discuss with the ump ... and he is getting his money worth, and HE IS GONE ... this is really comical, but that was a bad call
Russ Johnson in to play 1B, Girardi assumes the manager seat -- Clark goes down looking ... and that was so totally a MAKEUP as to be ridiculous, one down -- Spivey grounds to third, two away -- Jenkins flies to center to end the inning

TOP 6: Sanchez down looking, one away -- Muss down swinging, uno dos adios, two gone -- Jeter just planted one in the Yankee bullpen in right, a two out solo shot that extends the NY lead to 8-2
Bernie draws a walk -- Obermueller warming for MIL -- Santana falls behind Sheffield 3-0, then works it back to full, the payoff ... is down low, another walk, runners now first and second -- Maddux out for a mound visit
ARod draws a four pitch walk, the bases now loaded by three straight walks -- that will be all for Santana, Obermueller will come in to pitch for the Brewers
Bases loaded for Sierra, he grounds to second to end the rally
BOT 6: Lee just crushes one to left, you could tell by the crack of the bat, a solo shot, the Yankee lead is cut to 8-3
