TOP 1: Unit going for NY -- Sizemore lines the first pitch to the rightfield, Sheffield having problems gloving it, a leadoff double -- runner on second for Crisp, he goes down swinging (RJ 1), one down -- Hafner lines to center, Cabrera backs on it .... and misplays it off his glove ... Sizemore missed the stop at third and comes home, the throw from Cano is high and over Flaherty to the backstop, one run scores, and a runner at third -- Tribe draw first blood, 1-0
Runner at third for Martinez, he grounds to third, he chases back Hafner and puts the runner out at first, two away -- full count to Blake, the payoff .... he is frozen to end the rally (RJ 2)
BOT 1: Westbrook pitching for Tribe -- Jeter chops in front of the plate, the ball dies, Westbrook fields and puts him out, one away -- Cano grounds to second, two down -- full count to Sheffield, the payoff ... he hits a broken bat grounder to third to end the inning
TOP 2: Hernandez bloops a leadoff single to center ... Cabrera playing too deep on that one -- On the 2-2 pitch to Belliard, Hernandez goes ... Martinez grounds sharply to third, the runner holds, the play is made at first, two away -- Blake pops foul to the catcher to the left of home plate to retire the side
BOT 3: Jeter crushes the first pitch to first, great diving stop by Hernandez who puts him out, one down -- Cano hits a sharp grounder to first that bounces over Hernandez's glove and down the line into the rightfield corner ... he is in with a double -- Sheffield pops to short, two away -- ARod goes down swinging, the ball is dropped, he is put out at first to end the inning

Yankees win the series three games to one. Unit not great but good enough to give a quality start, timely offense, and solid defense pulled them through
