The Lost Art

Management

It's a lost art in this age of I'm okay, You're okay ... oh wait, You're disposable.

Notable problems nowadays are that everyone wants to be everyone else's friend, or even better, the "if you don't like it" superior. There is a lot of tolerance of people being individuals, even if it means that what they do alienates others. There is generally no concern about how people develop, and no desire to correct in a timely fashion because ... hey, it's not my tookus on the line

It's really funny how we all take for granted or just basically ignore that human beings ... are no less human in this really arbitrary, made up, thing called the workplace, the cubicle, the broom closet, the productivity area

Which brings me to the eternal burning question ... do people really enjoy what they do for work, and if not, why do you think that is?
